Job Description
Saint Paul Catholic Classical School seeks a dynamic Early ChildhoodPreK Teacher to join our faculty for the remainder of theschool year as a longterm substitute. Saint Paul Catholic Classical School is a Catholic classical liberal arts school serving students in grades PK38th grade. Saint Paul Catholic Classical Schools mission extends the mission of the church by accompanying parents on their journey as primary educators to unlock the wonders of Gods creation through a comprehensive faithbased classical education. In communion with the Catholic Church we foster awareness of each childs dignity as created in the image and likeness of God. We strive to form the whole person which enables each child to seek truth goodness and beauty in all things and to grow and live as an instrument of Gods love Our Classical Liberal Arts curriculum places Christ at the center of all things by instilling virtue and wisdom in each student.
We are seeking a candidate for an Early Childhood Teacher specifically for Prekindergarten 3s and/or 4s. This position is a longterm substitute position for the remainder of the 2025 school year. Candidates should possess a deep understanding of early childhood development and all disciplines of study at the early childhood level and their place in a liberal arts education while also possessing a love for lifelong learning. The candidate will have an understanding and appreciation for a classical liberal arts education strong teaching skills excellent communication skills and is committed to forming Christcentered leaders in the Catholic faith.
Qualifications:
- minimum Bachelors degree in a subject area related to the position for which you apply;
- teaching experience preferred;
- a love of teaching passion for the subject matter and desire to continue ones own learning;
- committed to embracing and fulfilling the schools mission and vision;
- familiarity with classical educational methods
