Job Description
HOURLY RATE: $15.00
Housekeeping is one of the most important jobs for maintaining our hotel in a safe attractive and comfortable condition for our guests. The Embassy Suites is looking for a House Person who is committed to providing first class services as part of a collaborative team.

- Clean public areas of the hotel per established procedures. This will consist of cleaning bathrooms and public space areas; dusting furniture fixtures and window ledges; vacuuming and mopping floors; and emptying trash cans.
- Replenish supplies in public restrooms break rooms and other identified areas.
- Retrieve your cleaning cart keep cart stocked and move around to assigned locations.
- Assist housekeeping and other departments with delivering items and assisting guestswhich may require lifting bedspreads weighing a maximum of 50 lbs.
- Adhere to cleaning procedures and instructions for use of cleaning agents.
- Sign for keys retrieve push cart to cleaning area and restock heavy cart. Visually inspect work for cleanliness and appearance and signify completion for room.
- Comply with attendance rules and be available to work on a regular basis.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Hotel House Person/Housekeeping and/or cleaning experience preferred.
- Ability to scrub and scour surfaces extending arms over head to perform cleaning tasks and work in confined spaces. Perform tasks requiring sustained repetitive motion and/or fine motor skills.
- Must be willing to pitchin and help co workers with their job duties and be a team player.
- Knowledge of chemical cleaning agents and operation of various cleaning equipment.
- Ability to speak English and interact with guests and other employees in a courteous empathetic and discreet manner.
- Ability to assist with light maintenance and perform other duties as assigned.
