Job Description
- Coteach in an inclusion classroom with a subject area or grade level colleague to support the needs of students on their caseload
- Design supervise implement maintain and evaluate a students IEP
- Plan and execute developmentally appropriate lessons make accommodations and modifications to the general curriculum as needed.
- Participate in the team meeting process and eligibility process (e.g. evaluating students for eligibility conducting academic testing conducting diagnostic testing reporting at team meetings attending team meetings etc.
- Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding student progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with peers and participate in professional development activities to enhance teaching skills and stay updated on educational best practices.
- Complete other duties as assigned by the building administration
