Job Description
Interns will be responsible for providing support to the local branch and its service operations administrative and sales teams. Tasks or support requested will include but not be limited to job walks or site visits to gather information related to equipment or projects. Will assist the Automation team with preparing design drawings and other project deliverables related to scope of work. Will assist the panel shop with panel fabrication and procurement tasks and perform certain administrative tasks related to customer support and other tasks as assigned by Management.
Job Title:Intern
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
- Solicit vendors for technical cutsheets submittals and Installation manuals.
- Prepare & modify AutoCAD drawings/details.
- Support the preparation of various documents including equipment schedules specifications reports permit applications and others.
- Complete site visits to gather information required to serve our customers better.
- Interact with Departments within Mesa as needed to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain constant communication with the Project Manager and assist with;
- Customer interface and coordination
- Actively participate in coordination meetings
- Resource Scheduling
- Track submittals shop drawings procurement deliveries and closeout documentation.
- Change order pricing and booking
- RFIs
- Track job progress
- Demonstrate a personal commitment to your growth and development as a Mechanical Engineer including participating in all professional training provided by EMCOR/Mesa
Job Specifications (incl. Education requirements minimal experience computer skills required etc.
- A bachelors degree in business engineering or a related field will be conferred within 2 years.
- Experience in sales project management or customer service is preferred.
- Experience in the HVAC is
- Strong presentation skills preferred.
- Strong computer skills using MS Office required.
- Competitive nature reliable selfdriven organized articulate and goal oriented.
- Excellent problemsolving skills.
- Ability to communicate clearly manage time effectively multitask & prioritize.
- Ability to identify different customer personality types and adapt/respond accordingly.

Compensation Range: $22 $25 per hour
