Job description:
- Promote a culture of safety by leading a comprehensive safety program focused on preventing workplace injuries while ensuring full compliance with all applicable federal state and local environmental and safety regulations.
- Implement and sustain a reliabilitycentered maintenance strategy that increases equipment uptime improves Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and reduces operating costs through maintenance best practices.
- Provide strong departmental leadership to uphold and continuously improve plant conditions and equipment performance to the highest standards.
- Ensure maintenance team members have the necessary skills qualifications and proficiency. Identify and support ongoing technical training and professional development for staff.
- Plan and execute capital improvement projects assist with annual budgeting and manage departmental expenditures. Drive technical enhancements to equipment and processes.
- Apply reliability tools and methodologies to analyze the root causes of critical equipment failures and unplanned downtime. Develop and implement effective solutions to improve reliability and prevent recurrence.
- Play an active role on the plant leadership team by fostering clear communication solving problems collaboratively and driving continuous improvement to meet plant objectives and performance benchmarks.
- Support and participate in continuous improvement initiatives through structured improvement activities and teambased efforts.
Requirements:
- Minimum experience 3 years of successful experience leading a plant maintenance department in an industrial manufacturing environment and/or 5 years of supervisory manufacturing experience.
- Minimum education required: Bachelors Degree in Industrial Maintenance Engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of OSHA requirements related to equipment inhouse. Ability to identify gaps and assist in implementing countermeasures to achieve Zero Safety Incidents.
- Ability to lead and develop a highly collaborative and effective team.
- Excellent organization project management and communication skills
- Proficient in Root Cause Analysis techniques (FMEAs 5Whys ATS etc. and developing/implementing Countermeasures to drive Zero Breakdown culture.
- Processoriented. Can identify gaps in any process and implement solutions.
- Basic mechanical electrical hydraulic instrumentation lubrication and predictive maintenance understanding.
- Ability to effectively learn the plants equipment and processes.
- Ability to manage costs and reduce/optimize where needed.

Preferred Requirements:
- Experience with CMMS preferred.
- Experience in TPM or Reliability field preferred.
