Job Description
What youre responsible for:
- Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport metals and s materials to designated areas within the plant.
- Load and unload trucks containers and railcars ensuring that materials are handled safely and correctly.
- Organize metal materials by placing them in appropriate storage areas based on their type size or weight.
- Assist in unloading incoming s deliveries and preparing outgoing shipments.
- Follow all plant safety protocols and wear appropriate personal protective equipment such as gloves a helmet and safety boots.
- Comply with environmental guidelines for safe handling and disposal of materials.
Qualifications :
To join our team:
- You have a High school diploma or equivalent.
- You have a Forklift certification (according to company or industry standards).
- You have previous experience as a forklift operator in a manufacturing warehouse or recycling environment is preferred.
- You have knowledge of safety standards and protocols in an industrial setting.
- You are able to lift heavy loads and operate machinery for extended periods.
- You have strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
