Job Description
WHAT IS ON OFFER
AHK has an exciting opportunity for a Cleaner / Laboratory Glassware Cleaner to join our Laboratory Facilities team based in Spartanburg South Carolina. The Cleaner / Laboratory Glassware Cleaner will be functionally responsible to the EHS & Facilities Manager ensuring effective and efficient cleaning operations.

RESPONSIBILITIES
- Clean offices laboratories toilets showers etc using various equipment and methods.
- Polish and dustoffices reception area conference rooms and corridors.
- Mop floors.
- Ensure all toilets and showers are kept clean and replenished on a regular basis.
- Polish glass on the doors and windows.
- Collect and dispose of trash. Recycle cardboard.
- Clean and mop the break room.
- Laboratory Glass washing duties including glass plastic and PTFE containers used in laboratory operations as per Standard Operating Procedures.
- Report any incidents or accidents.
- Wear personal protective equipment provided by the Company.
- Report any maintenance issues such as light bulb replacement leaking wash basins etc.
- Ensure safety in the workplace and in this respect ensure compliance with all instructions relating to the use and storage of materials/equipment necessary for the performance of his/her tasks.
- Follow health and safety policies and procedures at all times.
- Perform safety checks of emergency equipment fire extinguishers exit lights.
- To undertake other duties of an appropriate nature in consultation with the EHS & Facilities Manager.
- Daily maintain the hydration stations in a clean manner.

Required Work Experience
Desirable
- Previous cleaning experience.
- Experience of industrial cleaning.
