The Illinois Department of Children and Family Services is seeking an organized professional and results oriented individual to serve as Licensing Compliance Chief. Under administrative direction this position manages the statewide Licensing Compliance Program providing oversight of unit operations to ensure compliance with the rules and regulations associated with licensure. The position monitors to ensure that casework and licensing field staff move children to licensed foster homes or acquire licensure for foster homes in which children have been placed. This position will license amend withdraw and close foster homes day care homes group day care homes day care centers group homes child welfare agencies child care institutions and youth emergency centers.

This position provides a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about children and interested in being a leader in the administration of compliance efforts to ensure foster homes adhere to all appropriate licensing requirements to keep children safe.
