Job Description
Due to growth in the business we are currently seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to join our O&G Project team for immediate start 23rd April 7May 2025
The project is based in Roma QLD. Installing a compressor station working in the oil & gas sector. Successful candidates will need experience in the below:
- Oil and Gas experience.
- Flange management.
- Installation of valves and piping
- Read and understand drawings to enable correct fitting of pipework & associated valves / instrumentation into oil & gas skids
- Complete in depth inspection test reports flange closure reports
- Close tolerance and interface fitting
- Work under own initiative and as part of a team
Qualifications :
- Trade Qualification in fitting or similar mechanical field.
- Previous experience in Oil & Gas Pipework & Equipment
- Experience with hitorque flange management torquing and tensioning process and procedures
- High regard for working safely and environmentally responsible.
- Ability to work in an adaptable team and use own initiative.
- Prepared to mobilise for site phase of the project.
- Experience with compressor install shaft alignment and rotating equipment highly desirable.
