At IMG our Studios business use content and technology to power the worlds passion for sport working with global clients including The Premier League The R&A DP World Tour Euroleague Basketball and Major League Soccer. Weve built Europes bestconnected broadcast centre at Stockley Park London distributing 35000 hours of content globally and creating some of the worlds best sporting coverage. Our facilities include four broadcast studios fifty edit suites and a multitude of radio podcast dubbing and VFX facilities with specialisms in remote production and carbon reduction thanks to our Green to Screen initiative. Whether its live coverage archive highlights social media branded content or feature films we give the audience a front row seat to the best sport in the world.What Youll Do:

IMGs EFL Production Partnership was established in 2019 remotely producing 1891 live matches per season for the worlds original league competition with 1698 of those matches produced entirely within the department.
Recently renewed the partnership moves into an exciting phase with enhanced production specifications providing a high standard of coverage to domestic and overseas broadcasters.
We now have an exciting opportunity for a staff Director to join our dynamic fast paced EFL department helping to shape and innovative remote coverage workflows and beyond.
PLEASE NOTE: This is a permanent role based at our facility in Stockley Park Uxbridge. You will be required to work unsocial hours including evenings and weekends.

Key Responsibilities Include But Not Limited To:
Planning preparation and of EFL matches other events and wider IMG productions.
Contribute to the evolution of live coverage both creatively and technically for EFL Productions and beyond.
Evaluate develop and reviewing the onscreen look in conjunction with 3rd party graphics and camera suppliers as well as freelance production staff.
Working closely with IMGs Engineering department to oversee identify and report on all elements of the remote production workflow.
Establish working relationships with key clients and stakeholders
Establish and deliver reporting system for both clients and key stakeholders.
Support the development of junior production members (both staff and freelance).
Working closely with the Production Management team to ensure all productions run on time and budget.
Recruitment of freelance members of the production team where necessary.
Create close working relationships with the EFL highlights team to help identify develop and exploit collaborative workflows.
Shape and sustain a collaborative culture.
Responsible for adhering to compliance guidelines for broadcaster/client as appropriate
Comfortable working to tight deadlines.
You Will Have The Following Strengths:
Experience as a Director or Vision Mixer in live galleries/production
Understanding of production budgets
Experience of dealing with Talent (e.g. commentators voice over artists)
Wed Love If You Also Have These (Desirable):
Specialist knowledge of the EFL or football
Technical understanding of galleries and outside broadcasts
Experience of working on a wide range of sports programming including quick turnaround highlights documentaries magazine shows and shortform content.
