Summary
PGEs Utility Asset Management team (UAM) is responsible for managing PGEs Facility Inspection and Treatment to the National Electrical Safety Code (FITNES) Program and other T&D projects and programs. The FITNES Program covers PGEs entire system over a 10year cycle which equates to the inspection of approximately 30000 poles and 10000 underground units annually. The inspections and repairs are performed in accordance with Public Utility Commission of Oregon (OPUC) regulations. In support of PGEs Wildfire Mitigation Program UAM also manages PGEs Ignition Prevention Inspections which are conducted annually in PGEs High Fire Risk Zones and other risk areas.
The Manager T&D leads compliancebased and riskbased T&D initiatives including but not limited to PGEs Facilities Inspection and Treatment to the National Electrical Safety Code (FITNES) program and PGEs Ignition Prevention Inspection Program. The position manages and develops a team comprised of project managers and field inspectors. The Manager T&D must have broad program management experience spanning people process technology and data. This position requires subject matter expertise relating to: Oregon Public Utility Commission (OPUC) Chapter 860 Division 024 administrative rules and Chapter 860 Division 028 administrative rules; the National Electrical Safety Code; and utility T&D operations. A key aspect of this position involves strong collaboration with diverse stakeholders to achieve goals and strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities

Oversees and develops a team of professional employees ensuring that program and project metrics are met involving safety quality schedule and budget.
Monitors and manages expenditures ensuring that financial targets are met and examines areas where budgets/expenditures vary from plan. Assists with the definition and operation of effective financial controls and decision making.
Engages in regulatory activities including presentations to OPUC Staff and development of reports participates in OPUC dockets and supports responses to information requests.
Collaborates with diverse stakeholders to achieve goals and strategic objectives including continuous improvement operational efficiencies and technology initiatives.
Develops and deploys new T&D initiatives to achieve short term or long term objectives.
General Management
Oversees a team of supervisors and/or professional employees responsible for transmission and distribution activities.
Ensures objectives are met and all relevant standards/procedures are followed.
Identifies and resolves operational problems and ensures procedures and practices are up to date and fit for purpose.
Maintains compliance with all relevant laws regulations and company policies.

Qualifications
Education
Requires a bachelors degree in business or a related field or equivalent experience.
Master of Business Administration (M.B.A. is a plus
Experience
Prefer eight or more years in utility distribution operations.
At least three years of leadership experience.
Certifications Licenses and Training
Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus.
Valid drivers license required.

Compensation Range:
$119840.00 $222560.00Actual total compensation including a performance based incentive bonus is commensurate with experience skills qualifications education training and internal equity. While we anticipate the selected candidate for this position will fall towards the middle or entry point of the compensation range the decision will be made on a casebycase basis.
