Description
**NORCAL Ambulance is looking to hire a skilled Human Resources Generalist to join our rapidly growing team!**


Hours: Full Time (Monday Friday)

Pay: $70000


Qualifications:
  • Bachelors degree in: Human Resources Business Administration or a related field preferred or
  • Minimum of 4 years of HR experience with a strong focus on employee relations and investigations.
  • Knowledge of California state and local labor regulations and laws.
  • Demonstrated experience in conducting thorough and impartial HR investigations.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity

Key Responsibilities:

1. Employee Relations:
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for employees addressing queries concerns and grievances.
  • Foster a positive working environment by proactively identifying and addressing potential sources of conflict or dissatisfaction.
  • Provide counsel to supervisors and managers on employee relations matters ensuring fairness and consistency.

Investigations:

  • Conduct thorough unbiased investigations in response to employee complaints or allegations of policy violations.
  • Collaborate with legal and management teams when necessary during investigations.
  • Ensure all investigations are timely compliant with legal requirements and thoroughly documented.

2. HR Administration:

  • Oversee various HR functions such as recruitment onboarding benefits administration and performance evaluations.
  • Ensure compliance with federal state and local employment laws and regulations.

and Development:

  • Develop and facilitate training programs focused on workplace conduct conflict resolution and other pertinent topics.
  • Support the professional growth and development of our staff through skillbuilding initiatives.

4. Reporting & Documentation:

  • Maintain meticulous records of employee interactions investigations and resolutions.
  • Produce regular reports on HR metrics such as turnover rates employee satisfaction and the outcomes of investigations.
  • **Other duties as assigned
