Job Description

The fullfunnel experience across homefeed search and related pins combined with the ability to save collaborate and curate enables users to have dynamic multisession journeys and go seamlessly from inspiration to action. These journeys are rarely linear and Pinterest enables statefulness better than any other platform allowing users to stop and start refine down broaden out and come back to where they left off seamlessly navigating between discover decide and do.
What youll do:
- Visual Search is uniquely Pinterest and how we help users decide on and buy the product or service that they find while browsing or searching on Pinterest. Most of your time will be spent thinking about how to make the journey of shopping on Pinterest fun and frictionless.
- Develop and execute a cohesive Visual Search strategy and roadmap in close partnership with Executive Product Engineering Design and other crossfunctional stakeholders.
- Build innovative new Visual Search features that tap into the unique user intent on Pinterest. Youll create products that help users realize the inspiration they find on Pinterest browse products and ultimately find the item they want to buy.
- Partner closely with a wide range of disciplines including engineering data science design research marketing legal strategy and other product managers to define measure and drive .
What were looking for:
- Strong product sense: Strong product sense and ability to collaborate and get buyin from stakeholders while setting a longer term vision.
- Experience building AI/ML products: Demonstrated success in product management or related experience at fastgrowing companies particularly working on AI/ML based products.
- Bring structure to ambiguity: Proven ability to lead in ambiguous environments aligning across functions teams and orgs to deliver on time in a highly collaborative environment.
- Expert at weaving together data user feedback and intuition: Strong analytical skills to define product strategy and drive decision making making appropriate tradeoffs based on data analysis and qualitative feedback from Pinners.
- Previous experience in search social media and/or content platforms is a plus but not required.
- Technical strength: Youll partner closely with Engineering teams working with a wide variety of technologies including Machine Learning.
- Bachelors degree in a relevant field such as computer science or equivalent experience.

This role will need to be in the office for inperson collaboration 12 times/quarter and therefore can be situated anywhere in the country.
