JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for developing planning organizing and implementing an instructional program for PreKindergarten Exceptional Student Education (ESE) students through curriculum lesson plans and educational programs while ensuring that all procedures are followed to maintain safety and security and to meet federal state and local regulations.
EDUCATION TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
- Bachelors degree from an accredited institution in the field of Prekindergarten/Early Education or related field
OR
- Approval by or participation in a stateapproved certification pathway program
CERTIFICATES LICENSES & REGISTRATIONS
- Valid Florida Educators Certificate in PreKindergarten/Primary PK3 or Districtissued adjunct certification
OR
- Valid statement of eligibility
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- All hires must meet the Early Childhood physical examination requirements.
Current and former parents or guardians of children served by the Head Start programwill receive preference for employment in Head Start vacancies for which they apply.
