Job Description

The VERVE Hotel and Hampton by Hilton BostonNatick are looking for a dynamic Complex Sales Manager to join their Sales team. This role focuses on securing groups and conventions by building and maintaining strong customer relationships. Ideal candidates are wellrounded and businessminded individuals.

Responsibilities:As a Sales Manager you will thrive in a fastpaced everchanging environment perfect for those aspiring to grow their careers in hospitality. Your key responsibilities include:

  • Lead Generation:Research solicit and generate new leads for group opportunities through database research and proactive sales efforts aiming to exceed lead generation goals.
  • Customer Relationships:Develop market segments and new customer relationships while maintaining existing ones striving to maximize revenue and profitability for all hotel revenue streams.
  • Business Strategy:Analyze historical current and future hotel and market trends to develop marketing initiatives that capture maximum lead revenue and meet sales goals.

Skills Required:This role demands strong sales communication and networking skills. You must demonstrate a deep understanding of customer needs and apply a disciplined approach to qualify negotiate and secure new revenue for the hotel.

Key Areas of Focus:

  • Customer and Account Management:

    • Engage with Hilton Worldwide Sales local community Chamber of Commerce and intermediaries to retain existing customers and secure new business.
    • Develop and execute plans for outside sales calls industry trade shows and customer events.
    • Maintain an uptodate pipeline of business opportunities to meet short and longterm objectives.
    • Represent the hotel in all sales interactions including creating business proposals and executing contracts.
    • Conduct site inspections and coordinate customer specifications via the lead management system.
  • Prospecting:

    • Research solicit and generate new leads for business opportunities aiming to exceed lead generation goals.
    • Create and execute plans to shift market share from competitors.
    • Engage in outside sales activities to uncover needs build relationships and win new business.
  • Negotiations:

    • Negotiate contracts and commission agreements with customers and intermediaries.
    • Provide solutions that achieve and protect the hotels financial goals while strengthening customer relationships.
    • Engage Hilton Worldwide Sales to support the contracting process when needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelors Degree (preferred)
  • Minimum of 3 years of Hotel Sales experience
  • Previous Hotel Group Sales experience
  • Ability to travel on short notice and adapt to schedule changes
  • Highly professional presentation and communication skills
  • Experience with sales automation ( preferred) and PMS Systems (preferred)
