WHAT WILL BE YOUR ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design develop and execute comprehensive test plans test cases and test scripts for various software applications.
- Lead and mentor junior QA testers providing guidance and support in testing practices and methodologies.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including developers product managers and business analysts to understand requirements and ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Identify document and track defects using bug tracking tools ensuring timely resolution.
- Perform regression performance and load testing to validate software functionality and performance.
- Continuously improve testing processes and methodologies to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Stay updated with industry trends and best practices in software testing and quality assurance.
Minimum Requirements
WHICH QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE DO WE NEED FOR THE ROLE
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Information Technology or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in software testing with a focus on manual and automated testing.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong knowledge of QA methodologies tools and processes.
- Experience with test automation tools (e.g. Selenium JUnit TestNG) is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Java C# or Python for test automation.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in an Agile environment.
- Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills with a keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Any additional responsibilities assigned in the Agile Working Model (AWM) Charter
ADVANTAGEOUS SKILLS REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience in performance testing tools (e.g. JMeter LoadRunner).
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and tools (e.g. Jenkins Git).
- Relevant certifications (e.g. ISTQB CSTE) are a plus.
