You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailUnder the general direction of the Director of Early Childhood Education or Site Administrator the Classroom Aide Preschool Level 1 provides support to the instructional preschool program within an assigned classroom with specific responsibility for implementing programs for the personal and emotional growth of students; assisting in the monitoring of behavior plans; and communicating observations to teachers parents and administrators. The incumbents in this classification provide the students and teacher with instructional support in preschool classrooms which directly supports student learning and achievement.
The following alphabetical list of functions duties and tasks is typical for this classification. Incumbents may not perform all of the listed duties and/or may be required to perform other closely related or departmentspecific functions duties and tasks from those set forth below to address business needs and changing business practices.

EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School diploma or equivalent AND a minimum of 6 units in the field of Child Development/ Early Childhood Education.
EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Any related work experience in working with preschoolaged children or college lab hours.
