The Senior Special Loans Risk Manager is a seasoned expert responsible for assisting in the administration and management of high risk and impaired accounts to maximize shareholder value and minimize capital erosion of high risk and impaired assets. The role works with minimal direction on complex projects using deep knowledge in their field of expertise maximizing the recovery of nonperforming loans and restoring deteriorating loans to health to preserve CIBCs capital. The Senior Special Loans Risk Manager manages a designated selection of accounts including nonperforming loans debts written off assets in the loan realization account and certain highrisk performing loans developing action plans to curb credit problems related to specific accounts. The role exercises considerable judgement for decision making providing innovative ideas including the use of third party service providers such as trustees legal counsel and bailiffs to introduce superior recoveries at acceptable expense.

At CIBC we offer a competitive total rewards package. This role has an expected salary range of $for the New York New York market based on experience qualifications and location of the position. The successful candidate may be eligible to participate in the relevant business units incentive compensation plan which also may include a discretionary bonus component.
