You will provide high quality customer service to assist patients with online admissions process patient registrations confirm eligibility of adequate health cover and provide informed financial consent as well as work closely with hospitals to ensure process are completed in a timely manner prior to the patients admission.

The Position
Provide a high quality service to all patients contacting the call centre for assistance with online admissions.
Assist patients to complete their Informed Financial Consents via the portal.
Understand patients needs and show hospitality in every conversation.
Receive and respond to inbound calls and emails in a timely manner.
Make outbound follow up calls/emails to patients.
Manage and resolve patient queries and complaints.
Process patient registrations that come via the online portal and ensuring that that all demographic information is updated into WebPAS correct
Complete check eligibilities for all patients who are using private health insurance.
Complete Informed Financial Consent (IFC) for all patients to identify any outofpocket expenses and meet accreditation requirements.
Understand and interpret health fund contracts for each hospital 17 hospitals) to ensure accurate completion of IFCs and confirm the hospital/patients are not put at financial risk.
Understand and work with individual hospitals to be aware of specific contractual arrangements e.g. Concessions on certain procedures.
Work in accordance with the target outcomes set for completing check eligibilities.
Liaise with health funds/patients with queries regarding private health insurance.
You will have demonstrated experience delivering exceptional customer service and clerical support in a health care environment along with sound conceptual and analytical skills including the ability to analyse information and make informed decisions.
To succeed you will have flexibility to work across a variety of shifts including weekends as required. Shifts are rostered between 5.00am and 6.30pm Monday to Friday and 6.00am to 3.30pm Saturday and Sunday.

We can offer you
Salary: $66608 to $71901 per annum plus 11.5 superannuation
Casual hourly rate inclusive of loading $42 to $45.33 plus 11.5 superannuation
Permanent fulltime position working 40 hours per week/80 hours per fortnight
Located in Perth CBD Kings Square office with 40 work from home option
