About the role:

As an SEMH TA in Woodford Waltham Forest London you will provide crucial onetoone support to a Year 10 student with SEMH needs and challenging behaviour. Your responsibilities as an SEMH TA:

• Provide 1:1 emotional and academic support to a Year 10 student.
• Assist in lessons ensuring the student remains engaged and motivated.
• Implement behaviour management strategies to encourage positive development.
• Work closely with the class teacher and SEN team to create a supportive learning environment.
• Act as a role model promoting resilience and aspiration in education.

What youll need to succeed as an SEMH TA:

• Minimum 2:1 Psychology Degree from a Top 20 UK University.
• Previous experience working with secondary students with SEMH needs.
• Excellent patience empathy and communication skills.
• Passion for supporting young people with social emotional and behavioural challenges.
• A strong desire to progress within education and SEN support.

Job specifics:

• Location: Woodford Waltham Forest London
• Pay: 96100 daily via PAYE (including holiday pay)
• Contract Type: Full Time Long Term until July 2025
• Start Date: ASAP
