Job Description
The Automations team owns a suite of products including Workflow Automation App Builder Action Catalog and Datastore that allows customers to close the loop by taking action on their Datadog insights. Developer SRE and security teams build their own automations using our low code and AI experiences to automatically manage queues jobs or deployments page oncall engineers scale up container clusters block IP addresses and much more in the cloud and private environments.
As a Product Manager II for Automations you will work with a team of designers product managers and engineers to own the vision roadmap and of our automation products. We are looking for a Product Manager that is technical and can go deep to build the right solutions for our customers but at the same time is focused on the endtoend user experience. Youll work closely with the engineering design marketing and sales to identify opportunities to generate customer value by shipping new features in the platform.

What Youll Do:
- Own the endtoend product management process for the automation products within Datadog.
- Define Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the platform and report on them to business and executive leadership
- Work closely with Engineering teams to define and grow our products and ensure they meet performance security and scalability standards.
- Develop a deep understanding of and empathy for engineers who build their own apps and workflows
- Learn from our most sophisticated customers across any type of environment to be seen as an expert in the field.
- Partner internally with other Datadog Product teams to understand what user process can be automated by taking action directly from Datadog.
Who You Are:
- An experienced Product Manager ideally at a SaaS company
- You possess the ability to gain deep understanding of the system architecture and design concepts behind complex enterpriseclass software solutions at high transaction volumes
- You have experience working with REST APIs based services
- You have a technical background and/or sense of the day in the life of an engineer who holds a pager.
- You have Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or Engineering or equivalent experience
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills and the willingness to present and defend your ideas to both technical and nontechnical audiences
- You are customerminded with a high quality standard for the product to be delivered
