Land Dealings Officer

Permanent Full Time

Hervey Bay

  • Stream A Level 5 $89809 pa superannuation
  • 4 salary increase midApril (EBA)
  • 17.5 annual leave loading
  • 9day fortnight

What we are looking for:

We have an exciting new opportunity for a Land Dealings Officer to join our high performing Governance team. You will be first point of contact for any land tenure enquiries. Youll also be responsible for maintaining our land asset register and tending to land dealings and transactions related to Councils land portfolio.

What your day will look like:

  • Contribute to the ongoing strategic review of Councils land assets
  • Provide technical advice on Councils property portfolio
  • Prepare briefings reports and submissions on land tenure issues and projects
  • Manage the compulsory land acquisition process and lead property transactions
  • Investigate enquiries from the public related to land use
