Job Description

The Linear Motion Division (LMD) encompassing the Thomson Delevan and Nook brands is a major contributor to the Automation Motion Control Segment with approximately 1700 global associates and $400M in revenue. There are 9 main sites located across the United States Mexico the Caribbean China & Europe.

The Human Resources Director is responsible for driving strategic HR initiatives across manufacturing and operational facilities in North America. The Human Resources Director will serve as a business partner to Operational leaders and will be an important team member of the Operations leadership team contributing to the regional functions strategy direction and overall effectiveness in supporting the business. The position will also support various projects and initiatives across the Linear Motion division outside of the Operations function as needed. The Director of Human Resources also serves as a key partner to the operations leadership teams responsible for providing insights guidance direction and expertise that supports the development of HR initiatives and priorities at the plant level and providing leadership in the effective implementation and desired outcomes for their functions. Responsible for leveraging their experience to manage and execute talent acquisition workforce planning management development talent and performance management associate engagement workforce diversity and inclusion along with developing and implementing labor strategies at the plant level to help drive talent acquisition retention and productivity. Responsible for providing direct oversight and functional leadership to plantbased HR associates.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Strategic Leadership

  • Develop and implement HR strategies to support the growth efficiency and sustainability of manufacturing and operations across North America
  • Align HR initiatives with business goals ensuring operational excellence
  • Strong servant leadership skills and ability to thrive in resultsoriented environment

Workforce Planning

  • Drives Regal Rexnord values and creates a culture of integrity responsibility diversity & inclusion customer success innovation with purpose continuous improvement performance and passion to win all with a sense of urgency
  • Conduct workforce planning based on the individual business units strategy and leverage data and analytics to identify priorities
  • Lead workforce planning to meet production demands and longterm strategic goals
  • Develops organizational design and restructuring plans to optimize resource allocation

Talent Management/Leadership Development/ Diversity & Inclusion:

  • Develops and leads talent management initiatives to establish robust pipeline of diverse leadership talent
  • Leverage talent across the Operations functions to identify opportunities for developing leadership taken at the sites and across the region and global function
  • Manages the talent review and succession planning process provides expertise and guidance to the functions leadership and HR teams
  • Actively leads and participates in the talent acquisition of key functional positions
  • Demonstrates the use of 80/20 continuous improvement and to deliver results aligned with the Segment and Enterprise HR strategy including KPIs with a sense of urgency

HR Operations:

  • Foster a positive workplace culture focused on safety diversity and inclusion
  • Oversee HR operations across all manufacturing sites ensuring consist practices
  • Provide strong oversight on daily complex employee relations investigations to resolution
  • Experienced in integration optimization and large projects able to leverage data in making recommendations and decisions
  • Key advisor and coach to business leadership and line management on appropriate HR practices and policies ensures implementation and HR compliance
  • Collaborate with operations leaders to identify training needs and implement effective learning solutions

Other skills:

  • Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations
  • Excellent communication negotiation and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to influence and lead across all levels of the organization
  • Experience managing both unionized and nonunionized workforces

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelors degree preferably in Human Resources or Businessrelated field.
  • Minimum 10 years demonstrated successful HR experience preferably within a global industrial manufacturing environment.
  • Plant level HR responsibility as well as multisite responsibility highly preferred
  • Comfortable and ability to work effectively in fast paced metricsdriven environment. Adapts to rapidly changing dynamics and direction to adjust accordingly
  • Ability to travel up to 30

Expected salary: $150000 $170000 annually. The salary range provided is intended to display the value of the companys base pay compensation for all statewide locations across the United States. Salary is dependent on a multitude of factors including but not limited to the physical worksite location candidates skill set level of experience education and internal peer compensation comparisons.
