Were thrilled to offer an exceptional opportunity to join our Trust and Safety engineering team. As a key contributor youll collaborate with Product Operations Legal and worldwide Engineering teams to develop and integrate sophisticated online safety technologies into the PlayStation ecosystem.
This role provides an exciting chance to help keep PlayStations players safe and make a positive impact on the gaming community. Youll design develop and implement cuttingedge services to detect report and manage toxic behaviors and harmful content across games and the PlayStation Network. Job Responsibilities
- Collaborate with team members and game developers to integrate safety features that enhance the PlayStation gaming experience.
- Support the development and maintenance of software solutions that align with SIEs trust and safety standards.
- Assist in identifying troubleshooting and resolving technical issues to ensure reliable service.
- Participate in the design and architecture discussions for new features and enhancements.
- Continuously learn and improve your coding and problemsolving skills by working with experienced engineers.
Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science Engineering or a related field or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency in at least one programming language such as Java Python or JavaScript frameworks (e.g. Angular React).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and solve technical problems with guidance from team members.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills adaptable to collaborating with a variety of partners.
- Eagerness to work in an inclusive diverse environment that encourages collaboration and innovation.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with trust and safety practices or technologies.
- Handson experience through internships personal projects or coursework in web or serverside development.
- Interest in gaming and knowledge of the gaming community and online player experiences.

At SIE we consider several factors when setting each roles base pay range including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.
Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on jobrelated factors which may include knowledge skills experience and location.
