Job Description

Sales Consultant or Sales Representative Cape Town or Johannesburg

Market Related Salary R30000R50000 CTC depending on Experience)

We are seeking a competent and connected sales consultant or business development manager with a proven
experience in selling designled interior and fitout solutions.

This role is focused on building and maintaining strong relationships with interior designers architects and retail
marketing managers.

The right candidate will have a background in selling office interiors fitout solutions or workspace/retail environments and will understand the intricacies of spatial planning design flows and clientled innovation.

Key Responsibilities:
Build and manage relationships with key stakeholders including architectural firms interior design studios and
retail brand managers.
Act as a strategic consultant understanding the clients space brand and design intent to offer the most suitable
solutions.
Identify and generate new business opportunities within the workplace commercial office and retail environment
sectors.
Collaborate with internal design and production teams to deliver highimpact spatial design solutions.
Drive specifications through to project completion managing the client journey from brief to delivery.
Attend industry events exhibitions and networking functions to build a brand presence and expand your professional network.


Key Requirements:
Minimum of 2 years of sales experience in interior design shopfitting fitouts or workplace/retail environment
solutions.
Proven experience in engaging and selling to architects interior designers retail marketing managers and
corporate decisionmakers.
Ability to interpret plans layouts and design briefs and contribute meaningfully to spatial planning discussions.
Strong understanding of project timelines fitment processes and the commercial interiors landscape.
Exceptional communication presentation and relationshipbuilding skills.
Highly organized selfmotivated and comfortable with long lead sales cycles.

Ideal Candidate:
Has worked with or sold to toptier architectural or design firms.
Comes from a designdriven background (e.g. office environments tailored to interior designers commercial
interiors or spatial environments).
Can speak the language of design and understand how to integrate into a clients brand and physical space.
Isnt just selling a product but consulting on a vision. someone who thrives in environments where creativity and
commercial impact intersect.
