Job Description
Administer and support Veritas NetBackup (v8 v9 v10 OpsCenter and IT Analytics;
Manage Quantum robotics Data Domain VTLs and SAN Switches;
Handle daytoday operations on Linux and Windows Server environments;
Install upgrade and troubleshoot backup systems and related infrastructure;
Provide 2nd/3rd line technical support resolve incidents and service requests;
Develop automation scripts (Shell PowerShell) capacity planning and reporting;
Collaborate with networking storage and application teams.
Qualifications :
- BS/MS degree in Computer Science/Software Engineering or an IT related discipline;
- Veritas NetBackup / OpsCenter / IT Analytics;
- Windows & Linux systems administration;
- VMware virtualization;
- Network fundamentals (IP DNS IPv4/IPv6;
- Scripting: Shell PowerShell;
- Databases: Oracle PostgreSQL or MS SQL;
- Familiarity with PowerBuilder (nice to have);
- Strong troubleshooting & communication skills.
