Job Description
- Classify characterize companyused components parts materials and chemicals and organize and manage them as an integral material library.
- Create component & material selection and qualification guidelines standardize testing methods devise the test plates for common screening and qualification testing.
- Support on materialsrelated subjects such as datasheet interpretation alternative proposal application advising failure analysis storage and handling etc.
- Exploit emerging technology industry advances and new components and develop their application scenarios for adoption by new product development.
- Review product designs to ensure robust and reliable designin of components and materials both technically and commercially such as lifecycle state regulation & compliance requirements (e.g. RoHS REACH UL etc. and supply assurance.
- Lead the root cause analysis of component failures identify the failure mechanism and derive countermeasures
- Identify critical and highrisk components in products develop necessary mitigation plans and lead reliability and quality test.
- Evaluate supplier technical competency and conduct supplier search or selection for key components visit to audit suppliers if required.
- Standardize various technical documents (test plan reports guidelines etc. craft documentation templates and optimize the corresponding rules and processes.
Qualifications :
- Degree or above in Electronics/Electrical Engineering or equivalents.
- 7 10 years of experience in design sustaining testing or application of electronic/electrical components and products.
- Good knowledge of electronic components operating principles equivalent models electrical characteristics and application specialties practical limitations and constraints especially on power electronics.
- Good knowledge of component construction Physical structure and forms types and classifications naming conventions materials fabrication and packaging
- Experienced in application of electronic components be able to interpret schematics and circuits analyse component functions and electrical stresses.
- Proven skills in qualifying testing troubleshooting electronic components.
- Experienced in electronics thermal management and environmental testing.
- Practical knowledge of electronics design manufacturing processes and methods equipment & instruments in Lab or production etc.
- Experienced in electronic industry and marketplace suppliers vendors and distribution channels.
- Good understanding of BOM DMS PLM/ERP systems like SAP Oracle etc.
- Experienced in engineering change management and process.
- Good proficiency in English is required and desirable for Chinese or Vietnamese.
- Experience in switch mode power supply is a plus topology characterization testing methods safety standards and regulations.
- Experience in Power Query Python/VBA BI tools are strong plus.
- Familiar with Microsoft 365 Office tools Teams SharePoint etc.
- Resultdriven detailoriented and passionate for continuous improvements.
