Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Workday Integrations Consultant with handson experience in Workday Extend to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a key role in designing building and maintaining Workday integrations to support various business processes. This role requires a deep understanding of Workday technologies integration frameworks and application development using Workday Extend.
Key Responsibilities
- Design develop and maintain Workday integrations using Workday Studio Core Connectors EIB Workday Web Services (WWS) and Workday Extend.
- Develop custom Workday Extend applications to enhance existing business functionalities and extend the core Workday capabilities.
- Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to gather integration requirements and translate them into scalable solutions.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to integration and data flow between Workday and thirdparty systems.
- Ensure integrations meet performance security compliance and scalability standards.
- Support Workday updates and test existing integrations during biannual releases.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of integration designs configurations and customizations.
- Participate in code reviews testing and deployment processes following agile methodologies.
Requirements
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in Workday integration development.
- Strong expertise in Workday Studio EIB Core Connectors XSLT XML and Workday Web Services (REST/SOAP).
- Proven experience building and deploying solutions using Workday Extend.
- Solid understanding of Workday data models business process frameworks and security configurations.
- Proficient in debugging performance tuning and error handling of complex integrations.
- Strong problemsolving communication and stakeholder management skills.
- Workday certifications in Integrations and/or Extend are highly desirable.
- Experience with Workday Prism Workday Reporting or Workday Adaptive Planning.
- Exposure to Agile methodologies and DevOps pipelines for integration deployment.
- Prior experience in HR Finance or Payroll system integrations.
Education
- Bachelor s degree in Computer Science Information Technology Engineering or a related field.
- Workday certifications are a plus.
Key Responsibilities: Workday HCM Implementation: Lead the configuration, deployment, and support of Workday HCM modules, including Core HR, Recruiting, Talent, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Time Tracking, and Absence Management. Client Engagement: Engage with clients to understand business processes, provide recommendations, and configure Workday solutions to meet their needs. Solution Design & Configuration: Design functional solutions for Workday HCM modules, document business requirements, and configure the system based on these requirements. Testing & Validation: Develop test cases, perform unit testing, and manage user acceptance testing (UAT) for Workday implementations and upgrades. End-User Training & Support: Provide training and guidance to end users on Workday functionality and workflows. Troubleshoot and resolve system issues. Project Management: Participate in the project planning and coordination of activities, working with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met. Post-Implementation Support: Offer post-go-live support to ensure the effective functioning of the HCM system and resolve any operational issues. Continuous Improvement: Recommend process improvements and enhancements to increase system efficiency and effectiveness. Required Skills and Experience: Experience: 5 years of experience in implementing and supporting Workday HCM modules. Modules Expertise: Strong knowledge of Workday Core HR, Talent Management, Recruiting, Compensation, Benefits, Learning, Time Tracking, Absence Management, and Reporting. Configuration Skills: Proficient in Workday configuration, business process design, security setup, and report creation. Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact with clients at various levels. Problem-Solving: Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills. Certifications: Workday HCM certification (preferred but not required). Hybrid/Remote Working: Ability to work in a hybrid or remote environment, with some on-site client engagements as required.
