Key Accountabilities:
We are looking for a finance professional who brings at least 6 years of solid experience working in various RTR finance roles (GL accounting controlling audit FP&A) and thus well familiar with the wide range of finance processes. In dealing with the daytoday tasks the person in this role should be comfortable with the startup nature of the business and thus be flexible and adoptable to the changing environment and requirements.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain end to end accounting activities for dedicated entities
- Prepare and review of journal entries
- Prepare and review of reconciliations and other schedules required as part of the monthend and quarterend close process
- Complete and review the KDNs income statement and balance sheet including monthly reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts
- Ensure quality of accounting to ensure compliance with KDN Finance Principles and Policies and accuracy in all financial reporting is maintained
- Assist in complex group level analysis
- Assist in finalizing intercompany reconciliation on a monthly and quarterly basis
- Assist in preparation of annual financial statements as necessary
- Review the work of junior members of the team
- Structure complex issues into actionable items for other team members
- Work with service providers on enhancing finance and accounting systems and implementing new functionalities and reports
- Assist in preparation of working papers and any additional information for the interim and annual audit
- Support interim and annual statutory and internal audits of all KDN entities
- As needed assist in the setup of the financial reporting for new entities including the setup and testing of new month end reconciliations and closing entries
- Ensure quality and consistency in financial reporting
- Help to optimize the month end close process through increased automation
- Other ad hoc and special projects as assigned from time to time
- Supporting continuous improvement and process optimization in all areas of KDN Finance
Requirements:
- Minimum 6 years progressive financial and management accounting experience (GL accounting controlling auditing FP&A)
- Knowledge of IFRS internal controls and SOX requirements
- Experience performing financial reporting tasks for a US or UK listed company is preferred
- Minimum an undergraduate degree in business or finance or accounting
- CPA or other comparable accounting qualification
- Numerate with advanced Excel skills
- Fluent English language skills
