Casual Kindergarten Teacher

- Seeking casual kindergarten teachers to work flexibly in Council managed Childcare and Kindergarten services
- Choose your availability and work across our services providing service leadership and delivering high quality education and care to our youngest community members
- Various shift possibilities in services across our municipality
- Salary commencement based on teaching experience in line with Council enterprise agreement plus 25 casual loading and 11.5 superannuation
As a casual kindergarten teacher you will:
- Ability to plan and implement quality engaging playbased programs for our youngest community members
- Design programs and spaces that foster childrens growth creativity and development
- Ensure the center meets all legal regulatory and safety standards including adherence to child safe standards
- Guide the team of early childhood professionals and provide leadership and mentoring
- Work flexibly and be responsive to our kindergarten and childcare administration teams
- Be committed to professional development and eagerness to learn and grow as a teacher at our services
About you:
- Hold an ACECQA approved bachelors degree in early childhood teaching or equivalent qualification
- Hold current VIT registration
- Hold a current first aid and CPR training certificate
- Up to date child protection certificate
- Great communication skills and a passion for early childhood education
- Willingness to travel to services across the Moonee Valley municipality
- Responsiveness to short notice shift requests
