What does a Water Operator do
Picture a plumber fixing a burst pipe in your think about a leaking pipe in the street same problem.
The only difference is youre keeping your communitys water supply and sewer network running.
Youll be part of the Wastewater team where as a Water Industry Operator youre regularly outdoors youre digging trenches inspecting pipelines and repairing broken water and wastewater services.
Youre learning a collection of skills that can set you on your way to a technical management or leadership role.
Your main concern is keeping the water supply network running thats finding and fixing faults on pipes and joints. Its upgrading the water supply network and its understanding the endtoend water cycle and how water networks help your local community.
