Job Description

About the Role:


Lead continuous improvement initiatives across assigned sites or groups using Lean Six Sigma and 5S methodologies.

Drive operational excellence by enhancing safety process efficiency and costeffectiveness.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement throughout the organization.


Key Responsibilities may include:

  • Lead the implementation of Lean and Six Sigma principles to improve efficiency eliminate waste and enhance quality across the function.
  • Facilitate Kaizen and other continuous improvement (CI) initiatives guiding crossfunctional teams to solve complex problems and optimize processes.
  • Train and coach operational teams in CI methodologies promoting effective use of Lean tools to drive improvement efforts.
  • Collaborate with Finance and Transformation teams to track cost reductions and performance improvements documenting measurable impacts.
  • Develop and monitor Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for CI projects ensuring alignment with business goals and timely achievement of results.
  • Share best practices across the organization encouraging a collaborative environment to drive operational excellence and continuous learning.
  • Conduct regular audits and reviews to ensure compliance with CI initiatives and adherence to Brambles Global OpenX standards.

Major/Key Accountabilities

  • Drive the implementation of innovative and creative ideas methods and process improvements for all CHEP SC/3rd Party Operations.

  • Promote operational excellence and a culture of continuous improvement challenge the status quo persistently.

  • Serve as a change agent fostering a culture of continuous improvement and driving actions across various levels of the organization to ensure added value and the effectiveness of implemented processes and tools.

  • Identify improvement opportunities develop and manage improvement plans and lead improvement initiatives with SC champions and process owners. Identify gaps and design new processes while improving safety performance metric reduce waste and save costs.

  • Develop analyses and models for projects and continuous improvement of processes working collaboratively across functions to develop optimal low cost/high value solutions as prioritized by Supply Chain leadership.

  • Provide robust data analysis focused on cost reductions process improvements and strategic initiatives for the Canadian Operations and Supply Chain team.

  • Drive continuous improvement training program within CHEP / 3PL operations in collaboration with plant champions and OPEX team provide training and coaching to employees on lean and continuous improvement methodologies to execute improvement projects.

  • Analyze data using LEAN Six Sigma statistical data analysis methods.

  • Conduct problemsolving root cause analysis Gemba Walks KAIZEN events and CI improvement workshops.

  • Develop and analyze key performance indicators to monitor and track the impact and benefits of improvements in support of the companys objectives.

  • Implement and develop necessary procedures tools flow charts templates and online tools and apps.

  • Assists plants with various operational issues SAP Procurement and Coupa.

Qualifications

  • Post Secondary education

  • 35 years relevant work experience

  • Lean Six Sigma certification

  • Good analytical skills

  • Good communication skills

  • Ability to travel to sites

Experience

  • Worked in a process driven situation where success depends on adherence to deadlines

  • Inventory planning/control and logistics experience

  • Data analytics Operations Project Management

  • Safety Experience

Skills and Knowledge

  • Good working knowledge of MS office (particularly Excel)

  • Selfmotivated and works well under pressure

  • The ability to maintain a high level of accuracy with a high volume of output

Cerner les lacunes et concevoir de nouveaux processus tout en amliorant les indices de mesure du rendement en matire de scurit ainsi quen rduisant les pertes et les cots.

  • Dvelopper des analyses et des modles pour les projets et lamlioration continue des processus en travaillant en collaboration avec les fonctions pour dvelopper des solutions optimales faible cot et grande valeur en fonction des priorits de la direction de la chane dapprovisionnement.

  • Fournir des analyses robustes des donnes axes sur la rduction des cots lamlioration des processus et les initiatives stratgiques pour lquipe des oprations et de la chane dapprovisionnement au Canada.

  • Diriger le programme de formation en amlioration continue pour lquipe de lexploitation de CHEP et des tablissements tiers en collaboration avec les champions des usines et lquipe OPEX donner de la formation et offrir un encadrement aux employs sur les mthodologies damlioration continue et LEAN pour excuter des projets damlioration.

  • Analyser les donnes laide des mthodes danalyse des donnes statistiques LEAN Six Sigma.

  • Mener des ateliers sur la rsolution de problmes lanalyse des causes fondamentales les inspections Gemba les activits KAIZEN et lamlioration continue.

  • laborer et analyser les indicateurs de rendement cls pour surveiller et suivre limpact et les avantages des amliorations sur les objectifs de lentreprise.

  • Mettre en uvre et laborer les procdures les outils les diagrammes de processus les modles et les outils et applications en ligne ncessaires.

  • Aider les usines rsoudre diffrents problmes oprationnels avec SAP lapprovisionnement et Coupa.

Comptences

  • Formation postsecondaire

  • 3 5ans dexprience pertinente

  • Certification LEAN Six Sigma

  • Bonnes aptitudes analytiques

  • Bonnes comptences en communication

  • Capacit de se rendre sur les sites

Exprience

  • Exprience de travail dans un milieu ax sur les processus o le succs dpend du respect des chanciers

  • Exprience en planification/contrle de linventaire et en logistique

  • Exprience dans lanalyse de donnes les oprations et la gestion de projet

  • Exprience en scurit

  • Bonne exprience pratique de MS office (particulirement Excel)
