Job Description
Mindess School seeks a dynamic individual to join our United Arts team teaching musical instruments band chorus and elementary music. This position is fulltime beginning in September of 2025.
Responsibilities Include
- Teach fundamental music theory concepts (rhythm pitch melody etc..
- Instruct students on proper instrument techniques and playing skills.
- Prepare and deliver engaging lessons and activities.
- Lead rehearsals and prepare students for performances.
- Lead chorus.
- Maintain open communication with parents students and school staff.
- Collaborate with other teachers and administrators to support the schools music program.
- May be responsible for maintaining band equipment and instruments.
- Attend staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
- Minimum BA in Music or Music Education
- Ability to work with musicians at all skill levels
- Strong instrumental skills
