Key Responsibilities:
Manage client and partner relationships including team oversight and headcount management.
Establish controls for timely and accurate deliverables aiming for zero errors in payroll processing.
Oversee payroll transitions ensuring thorough documentation and alignment with company policies.
Streamline payroll accounting and ensure accurate cost accounting and timely banking transactions.
Prepare and reconcile monthly bank and client statements addressing any discrepancies.
Ensure compliance with statutory requirements on a monthly quarterly and yearly basis.
Verify payroll transactions against service level agreements (SLAs) and ensure timely processing for employees.
Conduct regular client meetings and maintain productive relationships while meeting service delivery expectations.
Lead and support team development ensuring all members are trained in the full payroll process.
Implement process improvements maintain adequate staffing levels and lead weekly team meetings.
Manage the preparation of payroll audit files for internal and external audits and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Deputize for the Global Operations Director as necessary and ensure adherence to data security standards.
Skills and Experience Required:
Strong management and leadership abilities.
Experience in payroll processes and regulations.
Detailoriented with a focus on errorfree deliverables.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to analyze and validate financial data.
Knowledge of statutory compliance related to payroll.
Familiarity with banking transactions and reconciliations.
Proficient in reviewing and updating SOPs.
Strong communication skills for client relations and team collaboration.
Experience in conducting audits and preparing audit documentation.
Ability to drive process improvements and standardization.
Knowledge of data security standards and ISO guidelines.
Strong problemsolving skills and ability to identify operational improvements.
