HR Workday Extend Developer
As a HR Workday Extend Developer at Millennium you will develop and enhance applications to result in a streamlined workflow and outstanding user experience. You will work with product management to understand the required functional design and work together to develop a technical design that you will build. Millennium is an early adopter of Workday Extend and have already several applications in production: enhanced offer management complex integration with a trading management system employment verification letter generator and much more.
Principal Responsibilities
- Partner with product management and other stakeholders to understand the functional design.
- Create and document a technical design.
- Develop and enhance HR Workday Extend applications.
- Work in an agile manner and properly leverage our Jira infrastructure.
- Keep your manager updated with your progress and report issues.
- Communicate with stakeholders to update on progress.
Qualifications/Skills Required
- Experience in building at least 23 applications using Workday Extend.
- At least 3 years of technical developer experience in the Workday ecosystem.
- Strong technical skills with extensive handson experience in writing scripts and building presentation components (PMD scripting AMDs Task Flows & Flow Definitions).
- Proficiency in building Extend orchestrations and modelling business processes.
- A strong understanding of app components model components app security and authentication processes.
- Proficiency with XML JSON XSLT and strong knowledge of web development languages.
- Extensive knowledge of web service technologies (REST SOAP Graph API) and authentication/authorization methods (OAuth JWT WSSecurity SAML X.509 etc..
- Strong experience writing Workday Query Language (WQL).
- Proficiency in Workday integration tools (EIB Studio Core Connectors RAAS Reports).
- Strong communicator able to interact effectively with stakeholders and colleagues.
- Broad business and technology understanding and good awareness of industry trends in HR technology.
- Ability to make sensible decisions under pressure.
