Job Description
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in civil engineering or a related field from an accredited program
- Professional Engineer License or equivalent
- 48 years experience in Civil Design
- Task management experience
- Working knowledge and understanding ofAutoCAD Civil 3D and/or Bentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
- Detailed Construction Costs Estimating
- Technical Specification Writing
- Proficient in MS Office Software
Position Overview:
Our client is seeking amotivated Civil Engineerto support aviation clients with increasing responsibilities in the design and management of landside civil engineering projects. The successful candidate will coordinate with clients subconsultants and internal stakeholders while managing project tasks and providing timely status updates.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Contract Document Development (Plans Specifications and Quantities/Estimates)
- Project Meeting Coordination (Organize and Run Meetings)
- Maintain current department organizational and quality control standards
- Analyze survey reports maps drawings blueprints aerial photography and other topographical or geologic data to plan projects
- Perform design computations
- Coordinate with and/or manage project subconsultants and inhouse support disciplines
Required Skills:
- Knowledge and understanding ofAutoCAD Civil 3Dand/orBentley Open Roads Designer/MicroStation
- Detailed Construction Costs Estimating
- Technical Specification Writing
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Software
Work Environment:
Work is performed in a general office environment. The role is mostly sedentary but may require occasional standing and walking. Lighting and temperature are adequate and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions such as noise or dust.
