Job Overview:
Is seeking an RV Technician I / II to join our manufacturing team where you will
help build the RV from start to finish. In this role the RV Technician I / II will follow
detailed manufacturing manuals guides and procedures to install components and
systems using hand and power tools as well as automated and semiautomated
manufacturing aids to build the RV. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated
detailoriented mechanically inclined individual to join our team where they will further
develop their skills while helping the company meet or exceed its goals.
Key Areas of Responsibility
Build and install all recreational vehicle components and systems to include:
fiberglass reinforced panels and pultrusions.
electrical wiring and systems including solar panels batteries inverters
panels air conditioning etc.
plumbing systems including sinks showers toilets and water heaters.
cabinetry drawers hinges slides etc.
finish items including flooring countertops trims etc.
Perform work with a high degree of skill and focus on quality and details.
Consistently work with an eye toward safety and continuous improvement for self
and others.
Keep all work areas clean and tidy throughout the workday.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Critical Competencies
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Read and interpret floor plans layouts and technical diagrams.
Knowledge of 12/24 volt DC and 120 volt AC systems.
Mechanically inclined and comfortable using a variety of hand and power tools.
Selfmotivated and reliable with good communication skills and good analytical
problemsolving ability.
Action oriented selfstarter and fast learner with the ability to work both
independently and collaboratively in a team setting in accordance with the
company culture and values.
Possess a strong sense of work ethic personal responsibility and commitment to
work outcomes particularly toward quality and safety.
Comfortable working in tight quarters and the ability to lift 50 pounds.
Have the desire to learn and grow within the organization.
Required Education and Experience
High School diploma or GED and a minimum of 2 years of relevant work
experience.
Trade or 2year degree preferred.
Previous automotive manufacturing or construction skills an asset specialty
automotive and/or RV manufacturing experience a bonus.
Electrical or plumbing/HVAC certification a bonus.
Must have a valid drivers license.
