We are seeking creative dynamic and committed teachers to join our team at Forest Valley Elementary School.

Ideal candidates will support the fulfillment of the OttawaCarleton District School Boards (OCDSB) Strategic Plan to enhance the quality of education in the school and the District by creating a positive and inclusive school climate learning and workplace environment. Candidates will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively and respectfully with a human rights and equity perspective to foster student success achievement and wellbeing.
All Occasional Teachers are eligible to apply for Long Term Occasional postings for which they are qualified.

Required Qualifications
OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary
OCT Additional Qualifications: FSL Part 1
Additional Requirements (experience knowledge education) considered an asset for the Position: Experience program planning in a LTO at the primary level is an asset. Assessment and reporting experience would be considered an asset.

1. At least three 3 teachers who are currently employed as an occasional teacher with the OCDSB and who have the required OCT qualifications and who best meet the criteria outlined in the job posting.
2. If fewer than three 3 qualified applicants apply all qualified applicants will be interviewed.
