Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Able to pass a Background Check which will include Criminal History and Sex Offender Registry
- Able to operate a POS/Cash Register
Knowledge Skills and Abilities Required:
- Demonstrate a positive attitude good interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate with the general public in a courteous manner.
- Able to address multiple clients in a timely manner.

- Ability to work as a team player.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Abide by The Salvation Army Employee Handbook and all instore policies & memos.
- Process and sell merchandise in accordance with policy.
- Perform duties as assigned:
- Stocking
- POS/Register Sales
- Cleaning
- Rag out
- Greet all customers and/or donors giving prompt and courteous assistance.
- Assist in maintaining a clean neat and organized Store.
- Maintain assigned Store area as directed.
- Maintain safety standards report any hazards or problems to Supervisor.
- Other written or verbal duties as may be assigned by Supervisor.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit walk stand bend squat climb kneel and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp push pull objects such as files file cabinet drawers clothing carts merchandise carts rolling clothing racks fixtures furniture dollies platform trucks and carts hand trucks and miscellaneous carts.
- Ability to operate a telephone.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
