We are seeking a highly organised and efficient Warehouse and Logistics Manager to join our team in Bellshill United Kingdom. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our warehouse operations and logistics processes ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.
- Manage and coordinate daily warehouse operations including receiving storing and dispatching goods
- Develop and implement strategies to optimise inventory management and supply chain processes
- Oversee the maintenance of warehouse equipment and facilities to ensure a safe working environment
- Manufacture Weekly Supplies Coordinate the manufacturing of weekly supplies to meet operational demands. Ensure that production schedules align with inventory levels and customer requirements.
- Analyse and improve warehouse layout and workflow to enhance operational efficiency
- Lead motivate and develop a team of warehouse shipping and dispensing staff fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Corrective Actions Implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs) to mitigate future issues.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless coordination of logistics activities
- Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to track warehouse productivity and efficiency
- Ensure compliance with all relevant health and safety regulations and company policies.
- Audits Host external and internal audits to ensure compliance with regulations and standards.
- Implement and maintain quality control measures to minimise errors and damages
- Assist with managing relationships with suppliers carriers and other external partners
Qualifications :
- Minimum of 5 years experience in warehouse and logistics management roles
- Proven track record in optimising warehouse operations and implementing process improvements
- Results driven with a proven track record of quick results.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems
- Excellent understanding of UK logistics and transportation regulations
- Familiarity with lean management principles and their application in warehouse settings
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams
- Exceptional problemsolving and decisionmaking abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Professional certifications such as CILT (Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport) or APICS are desirable
- Thorough understanding of health and safety regulations in warehouse environments
