Job Description
We are seeking a highly organized and efficient Warehouse Manager to join our team in Mequon United States. The ideal candidate will oversee all warehouse operations ensuring smooth logistics inventory management and team coordination.
- Manage and optimize daily warehouse operations including receiving storing and shipping of goods
- Supervise and train warehouse staff promoting a safe and productive work environment
- Implement and maintain inventory control systems to ensure accurate stock levels
- Coordinate with other departments to meet customer demands and delivery schedules
- Develop and enforce safety protocols and procedures in compliance with OSHA regulations
- Analyze warehouse performance metrics and implement process improvements
- Manage equipment maintenance schedules and facility upkeep
- Oversee the loading and unloading of customer vehicles ensuring proper documentation
- Conduct regular cycle counts and participate in annual inventory audits
- Utilize warehouse management software to track inventory generate reports and analyze data
- Collaborate with suppliers and transportation providers to optimize supply chain efficiency
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the warehouse at all times
Qualifications :
- High School Diploma required; Bachelors degree in Logistics Supply Chain Management or related field preferred
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in warehouse management or similar role
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively
- Proficiency in warehouse management software and inventory control systems
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations logistics and supply chain management
- Forklift certification or willingness to obtain certification
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in warehouse operations
- Basic mathematical and computer skills
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly with occasional lifting of up to 100 lbs
- Familiarity with lean management principles and continuous improvement methodologies
- Adaptability to changing priorities and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
