Duties:
Oversee procurement process
Vendor Management
Implementing Purchase strategies
Source and evaluate vendor for quality and pricingensure timely delivery of materials
Coordinate with internal team for procurement needs.
Responsibilities:
Negotiating and managing contracts:
Reviews items to be procured and reviews bid documents; selects bidders negotiates prices and quotations and evaluates alternate suppliers.
Enhancing purchasing policies:
Manages the entire procurement process develops purchasing policies and procedures and prepares performance reports.
Developing a sourcing plan:
Reviews engineering drawings accompanies engineers in examining sources of supply and interviews prospective suppliers.
Managing inventory:
Utilizes inventory and cost analysis reports and reconciles stock discrepancies with suppliers; reorders levels as necessary.
Conducting research:
Analyzes researches and recommends alternative sources of supply for usage and cost savings.
