Position Summary:

Central Carolina in Sanford NC. is seeking a Full time Certified Nursing Assistant to join our Med/Surg Unit.

The CNA will:

Provide patient care to include but not limited to assistance with activities of daily living vital signs and Accuchecks while under the supervision and direction of the nurse.

Essential Functions:

Monitor vital signs/blood sugars

Assists patients with activities of daily living; Document and report abnormal findings or changes in patient condition

Measure and document input/output and weights

Assist nurse as needed

Answer call lights

Assist with patient admission transfer and discharge

Provide care appropriate to the condition/age of the patient

Distribute drinks and/or snacks

• Maintain clean and neat patient room and work environment.

Adhere to CCH attendance policy

All other duties as assigned

Required Education:

High school diploma or equivalent

Graduate of Nursing Assistant Program I

Required Certifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant I

BLS is required within 30 days of hire
