Job Description
We are looking for a Software Engineer who has experience in frontend development to join our team at The Stepstone Group and enhance the job search experience for our candidates!
Our Team is responsible for displaying job advertisements that are both attractive and valuable to our job seekers. The ideal candidate should have a proficiency in frontend architectures and technologies such as React TypeScript and .
Your responsibilities:
- Support TeamLevel Technical Initiatives: Assist in resolving teamlevel technical problems and contribute to the success of technical initiatives within the team.
- Contribute to the Codebase: Regularly contribute to the development and maintenance of the codebase ensuring that both technical quality and performance standards are met. Play an active role in driving architectural decisions that align with team goals.
- Collaborate with Engineering and Product Managers: Work closely with engineering and product managers to understand technical implementation options. Help translate complex technical concepts into nontechnical terms ensuring that all stakeholders understand the associated risks and challenges.
- Mentor and Support Engineers: Actively engage with and support fellow engineers within your Chapter and the wider engineering team fostering a collaborative and supportive environment.
- Facilitate Engineering Maturity: Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices within the team by encouraging curiosity innovation and the adoption of best practices.
- Align Efforts with OKRs: Support the engineering team in meeting their objectives and key results (OKRs) and help translate these goals into a clear actionable technical roadmap.
- Engage in CrossTeam Discussions: Participate in technical discussions across teams or domains providing insights and solutions to address broader technical challenges.
Qualifications :
- Experience in frontend architectures and technologies: React TypeScript .
- Experience in working with
- Working knowledge of AWS Cloud Services is highly desirable.
- Good verbal and written communication on a technical level with an understanding of business requirements if needed.
- Have knowledge of best practices in microfrontend microservices eventdriven architectures and responsive web design.
- Experience with monitoring tools like Datadog Elasticsearch & Kibana and Cloudwatch.
- Skilled in performanceoriented programming
- Skilled in modern software engineering toolchain technologies
