About the Role
The Senior Designer Financial Visualization is an integral part of Lathams Global Finance role will be responsible for providing superior design and graphical production support and consultation to the Global Finance Department while collaborating with the Global Finance team to create effective visual communication of financial and departmental information including layouts presentations reports training materials and internal communications. This role will be located in our Global Services Office in downtown Los Angeles. Please note that this role may be eligible for a flexible working schedule that allows for a hybrid and inoffice presence.
Responsibilities & Qualifications
Other key responsibilities include:
- Storyboarding developing and editing visual content with a strong intentional and compelling narrative for various stakeholder groups ensuring keen design thinking and attention to detail
- Developing complex and thoughtful visual content that conveys internal strategies projects and initiatives concisely and compellingly for key stakeholders
- Creating revising and reformatting PowerPoint presentations maintaining firmspecific formatting style design standards and consistency
- Supporting advising and training finance staff who use Microsoft PowerPoint and Word templates
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with executives staff and colleagues
- Protecting and maintaining any highly sensitive confidential privileged financial and/or proprietary information that Latham & Watkins retains
Wed love to hear from you if you:
- Demonstrate a keen understanding of design principles and a welldeveloped sense of voice
- Possess operational data visualization skills and literacy
- Display business acumen and understanding of financials
And have:
- A bachelors degree in graphic design or a related field preferably; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
- A minimum of five 5 years of design graphics or visual presentation experience specifically with financial data visualization
- Experience at a professional services firm preferably
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud and Microsoft Office Suite
