Job Description
Permanent job available for a Shift Engineer to work at a prestigious accommodation building in Covent Garden London.
Salary up to 30k working 8am8pm 4 on 4 off.
JOB DUTIES
The Shift Engineer will carry out the following;
- Coordinate and perform routine preventive and emergency maintenance and carry out repairs to obtain optimum efficiency.
- Respond to guests maintenance needs promptly and ensure guests receive professional efficient prompt and courteous service to hotel standards.
- Maintain the physical appearance and operational efficiency of the hotel mechanical and electrical systems.
- Installation & maintenance of all equipment related to HVAC Water treatment Fire Safety and emergency life support systems.
- Maintain monitor and oversee the testing of the hotels emergency and security systems features Fire Alarm CCTV sprinkler system.
- To oversee basic plumbing and drainage. Fixing leaking taps WCs etc.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Ideally the Shift Engineer will have good allaround knowledge of building services.
Must have previous experience in a similar role ideally from a hotel environment.
Great customer service skills.
Must have the ability to lead multitask and make sound decisions in a fastpaced environment.
IT skills including experience of using BMS Word Excel and a preventative and reactive software reporting system.
JOB LOCATION
The Shift Engineer job is based near to Covent Garden station London WC2E 9JT.
