Responsible for leading and managing a team of installers. This leadership role involves overseeing the installation maintenance and servicing of outdoor internet units ensuring highquality workmanship customer satisfaction and adherence to safety standards.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Team Leadership and Supervision;
Supervise a team of installers responsible for the outdoor installation maintenance and troubleshooting of internet units.
Provide guidance training and ongoing support to the installation team ensuring they have the necessary skills and resources to perform their work effectively.
Monitor team performance provide feedback and advice on how performance can be enhanced.
Schedule and delegate installation and service jobs efficiently to ensure timely completion.
Assist the installation team with troubleshooting complex installation or service issues in the field.
Take a handson approach to resolve technical problems and ensure installations are completed successfully.
Identify potential process improvements and implement solutions to enhance team productivity and service quality.
Quality compliance and control;
Oversee the quality of installations to ensure all work meets company standards customer expectations and regulatory requirements.
Ensure compliance with safety procedures including working at heights electrical safety and safe equipment handling.
Conduct site audits and inspections to ensure proper installation techniques safety protocols and equipment functionality.
Customer Interaction;
Serve as the primary point of contact for escalated issues or customer concerns related to installations and services.
Work closely with customers to ensure their needs are met and that installations are performed to their satisfaction.
Communicate effectively with the installation team management and customers to ensure smooth operations.
Performance Reporting;
Maintain accurate records of installations repairs and maintenance activities.
Prepare and submit regular reports on team performance project status and customer satisfaction.
Monitor job completion timelines and ensure any delays or issues are promptly addressed
Stock Management;
Manage and track inventory of installation materials tools and equipment to ensure adequate stock for job completion.
Ensure proper handling maintenance and storage of tools and equipment to minimize downtime and maximize productivity.
Report any equipment malfunctions or shortages to the Operations Manager and coordinate repairs or replacements.
EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS:
Mandatory Requirements:
Minimum of a Diploma or equivalent qualification.
Minimum of 3 years work experience with at least 1 year in a supervisory role in a telecom Internet Service Providers.
Strong background in installing and maintaining outdoor units telecommunications equipment.
Proven track record of leading a team and managing installation projects from start to finish.
