Overview
We are seeking a Product Specialist based in the USA preferably near Houston Texas. This role is ideal for a Junior to Mid level professional with fluent English and experience in productrelated roles. The Product Specialist will be clientfacing responsible for working closely with customers sales and marketing teams to ensure effective product adoption support and optimization. Additionally this role will incorporate responsibilities typically associated with Product Owners and Business Analysts including requirement gathering backlog management stakeholder communication and Agile process facilitation. The ideal candidate will have strong knowledge of Agile methodologies and will be responsible for managing Agile ceremonies and supporting development teams in delivering highquality products.
Responsibilities
Serve as a key client liaison ensuring product adoption and alignment with customer needs.
Work closely with sales marketing and customer success teams to improve product usability and market positioning.
Provide training documentation and support to internal teams and customers.
Collect and analyze customer feedback translating it into actionable recommendations for the product team.
Support gotomarket strategies ensuring smooth product launches and feature rollouts.
Work as a Product Owner with Developers understanding product capabilities and communicating value to stakeholders.
Gather analyze and document business requirements ensuring alignment with company goals.
Manage and refine the product backlog ensuring user stories are clearly written and prioritized based on business needs.
Translate business requirements into actionable user stories and acceptance criteria for the development team.
Conduct market research and competitor analysis to help define product enhancements.
Work with UI/UX teams to refine designs based on user needs and product functionality.
Facilitate collaboration among crossfunctional teams including developers designers and QA analysts to ensure cohesive and efficient project .
Validate completed user stories against acceptance criteria to ensure quality and functionality.
Monitor product performance and user adoption metrics suggesting improvements to enhance usability and engagement.
Write clear documentation for product features workflows and business processes.
Manage Agile ceremonies including daily standups sprint planning backlog refinement sprint reviews and retrospectives.
Ensure that Agile best practices are followed and facilitate continuous improvement within development teams.
Coach and support teams in Agile methodologies ensuring adherence to Scrum principles.
Monitor and manage Jira boards ensuring accurate tracking of sprint progress backlog refinement and issue resolution.
Identify and resolve impediments affecting team progress escalating when necessary.
Work with Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches to optimize team performance and delivery processes.
Foster a collaborative and Agile mindset within the organization promoting Agile adoption across teams.
Ensure JIRA and Confluence documentation is wellmaintained structured and accessible for all stakeholders.
13 years of experience in a productrelated role (Product Specialist Product Analyst Product Owner or Business Analyst).
Fluent English with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience in clientfacing roles with strong stakeholder management abilities.
Strong knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum Kanban ScrumBan or similar).
Experience in managing Agile ceremonies such as standups sprint planning backlog grooming reviews and retrospectives.
Strong knowledge of JIRA & Confluence for backlog management documentation and reporting.
Ability to gather document and analyze business requirements and translate them into actionable tasks.
Experience in managing product backlogs and writing user stories.
Strong documentation skills ensuring clarity in product features and workflows.
Experience working with UI/UX teams to improve product usability and adoption.
Ability to monitor Jira boards track team performance and identify bottlenecks.
Strong problemsolving skills with a proactive approach to resolving impediments.
Experience in the transportation industry is a plus but not mandatory.
