Arb Team Leader
Location: Field base between Glasgow and Edinburgh
Salary: Competitive vehicle
Contract Type: Permanent
What youll do:
Were seeking a dynamic Arb Team Leader/Site Manager to enhance our Rail and Infrastructure team. In this pivotal role youll support the Contracts Manager in overseeing various arboriculture projects across Scotland. Your expertise will be instrumental in propelling our projects forward making previous arboriculture experience essential.
This role would suit someone with a strong background in arboriculture who is now looking to step away from being handson and move into a more supervisory positionoffering the perfect next step for experienced professionals ready to lead from the front.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate closely with the contract manager to oversee daily operations and ensure strict adherence to safety protocols onsite through regular audits and inspections.
- Maintain efficiency and agility in managing fluctuating workloads while offering guidance and support to field based teams to enhance cohesion and productivity.
- Skilfully price work and execute projects delivering results that exceed expectations while simultaneously leading the thorough scoping of sites meticulously assessing project requirements and constraints.
- Develop comprehensive task briefs to provide clear direction and alignment with project objectives and engage with clients to address concerns and maintain satisfaction.
- Effectively manage working hours to ensure the safety and wellbeing of all personnel onsite and strategically plan possessions to minimise disruptions and maximise efficiency.
- Oversee the seamless of projects promptly addressing any issues that arise to ensure project continuity and quality.
What were looking for:
- Essential: Experience in Arb & Devegetation pricing of works
- Desirable: Rail experience
