Lead Dementia Nurse
22 per hour 48 Hours per week (including weekends)
Our client a warm and welcoming nursing home is looking for a Lead Dementia Nurse to provide outstanding care and clinical leadership within their dedicated dementia unit.
As a Lead Dementia Nurse you will take charge of clinical care within the dementia unit ensuring that residents receive the highest standard of personcentred support. This role requires a strong clinical leader with a passion for dementia care the ability to mentor and guide a team and a commitment to fostering a positive and enriching environment for residents.
What Were Looking For
- RGN qualification with experience in dementia care and strong clinical skills RMN applicants with dementia experience and clinical training are welcome to apply
- Valid UK NMC Pin
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- A compassionate patientfocused approach
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver highquality clinical care tailored to the needs of residents with dementia
- Provide leadership guidance and support to the care team
- Ensure compliance with CQC standards and best practices in dementia care
- Administer medication safely and oversee care planning
- Build strong relationships with residents families and multidisciplinary teams
- Champion dignity independence and wellbeing for all residents
